CHIMNEY ROCK 2016
This is an older adventure but worth posting about. These photos were shot prior to the Western, NC wildfires that took place in 2018/2019. We visited Lake Lure and Chimney Rock for a wedding and took the hike on for the first time the day after the ceremony (we were very hungover). We climbed our way to the top while enjoying the views and the breezes of the mountain air and enjoyed our day. Oh yes, I was brutally attacked by a praying mantis as you’ll see below. Enjoy.
